B.B. Cunningham, Memphis music legend and bass
player
for Jerry Lee Lewis was shot Sunday morning while trying
to protect his neighbourhood from his own murderer.
Let's just be glad we had some time to spend
together.

Chuck Berry's guitar
stolen and returned

Chuck Berry has had one of his guitars and other equipment stolen from his home in September.
In the meantime three suspects were arrested
and guitar as well as power washers, a leaf blower and some used vehicle
batteries
returned to Berry.

Jerry Lee Lewis cancels
October 2012 shows

Jerry Lee Lewis is suffering from
complications from two accidents earlier this year involving his leg and ribs
and therefore had to cancel two shows in Los Angeles and Chandler, scheduled for
this month.

Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard are back in business, working on a variety of projects.
Lewis has returned to the road and will release a new book on his life next year.
Little Richard is also scheduled to perform a couple of shows and is slated to appear on George Jones' upcoming album.

Lawyers settle suit
over cancelled Chuck Berry concerts

A lawsuit over cancelled Chuck Berry concerts back in 2008 has finally been settled.
Berry, one day before the trial was going to start, agreed to pay an undisclosed amount to his former agent Cheyenne Productions.
Also read about it here. Take note that Cheyenne Productions arranged around 30 shows a year for six years for Berry, not three as claimed in this article.
